Pokémon Daily Issue 1

Pokemon of the day:
Ninetales

Ninetales isn't quite as popular as Arcanine, but it's also pretty powerful. It has excellent Special so Fire attacks like Flamethrower work great with it. It's Defense is pretty decent which is good while competing against tougher opponents. Be sure to train a Vulpix to a strong level before evolving it. It can learn several good moves like Dig (Good against the Rock-types that it is weak against) and Confuse Ray (Pretty annoying if you're it with it). This fox is also good in physical attributes. It is very elegant and beautiful in it's shiny fur. Ninetales is also original since it's not on everybody's team. So, put Ninetales into consideration when you think of Fire-types.

Recommended Moves:
Flamethrower
Dig
Body Slam
Confuse Ray

Move of the day:
Sleep Powder

Sleep Powder dosen't do any damage but it serves the basis for all kinds of great combo attacks. When the enemy falls asleep, you can choose to attack or increase your one of your Pokemon's stats. Grass-types and some Bugs are gifted with this ability. Many Pokemon mentioned have this move on their arsenal.

Overused Pokemon of the day:
Mewtwo

Yes, you've probably see this Pokemon on several teams. Mewtwo's stats are awesome and it's attacks can virtually wipe any opponents when used correctly. When it boosts its Special with Amnesia to the max, Psychic is a very deadly move. So are other attacks like Blizzard, Fire Blast, Thunder etc. Of course, using Mewtwo as your main Pokemon would make it very irritating to your opponents.
