| Pokémon of the day: Hitmonchan If you want a good Fighting pokémon, you have to have Hitmonchan. He learns various Punches and you can teach him a few good TMs. Wanna know how good Hitmonchan is ? Then read on..... E.g. Say for example a person uses a Fearow and you know that Fighting pokémon are weak against Flying but use a Thunder Punch and the Fearow's dead. Hitmonchan also learns the very powerful Counter move which does twice the damage that your opponent's pokémon does (in normal and fighting attacks). You can only get Hitmonchan from the Fighting Dojo Gym in Saffron City so next time you choose to get either get Hitmonlee or Hitmonchan, you know which one's better. |
Move of the day: Confuse Ray (10 PP) Not many pokémon learn Confuse Ray, but if you catch a pokémon that learns Confuse Ray don't replace that move. Confuse Ray is kinda like Confusion but it confuses the opponents pokémon so that it has a less chance of attacking your pokémon. This is one of my favourite moves too. ![]() |
Unused Pokémon of the day: Raticate When you see a wild Rattata I bet you'll say "Pah its another stupid Rattata again" but if you teach it some good TMs it'll be even better than you think. At Level 20 Rattata evolves into Raticate and the the good thing is that Raticate learns Hyper Fang and Super Fang which can only be learnt be these Rats. Theres no such thing as a bad or good pokémon. If you just take some time to raise a Rattata or Raticate, you'll have one of the best Normal pokémon in your Team.
